Checking the "Other"
QU Meeting Night
Bulletin Board
Because our Bi-Laws state that no member of the guild can profit by their membership, we have devised a legal method for members to notify other members of items they wish to buy or sell. We have a bulletin board that is located in the entrance hall where such notices can be posted.
Members are urged to both post and check the Meeting Night Bulletin Board during social hour at the regular guild meetings.

RETREAT!!!
Ok, so maybe your life isn't a war zone, but who couldn't use a nice retreat?
Our own Workship Guru, Penny Blaszczyk has found a way for QU members to get away for a weekend, close to home (saves on travel expenses), and create a new quilt at the same time?
Where, you ask? |
Penny has preliminarily blocked rooms at the The Wakulla Springs Lodge, for the weekend of March 13, 2009, and is working on the details. Rooms at $105 a night can accommodate as many as 4 or as few as one. The plans are to create a mystery quilt. If you are interested, please contact Penny Blaszczyk.

phone numbers and email addresses. )
