For 2023, we will create blocks to strengthen or reinforce piecing skills using shapes and techniques of most quilt block patterns. It will be as easy as BOM-2-3.

Each month has a theme and two block patterns. The “Starting Point” block will showcase the technique in a simple block pattern. The “Next Level” block will build on that same technique with slightly more difficulty.

It’s easy to participate … whether you can make one block in the year or two blocks each month, you can join in on the fun! You can make the Starting Point block, the Next Level block or both. Bring your block each month to display at the meeting and enter your name for a chance to win a prize.

This year, you can make the blocks to keep or make blocks to donate to charity.

If making blocks for charity, we request you make the blocks in red, white and blue fabrics as we will use these for veteran quilts. Pattern examples will be photographed in these colors.
