One of the Guild’s Sit-and-Stitch groups — the McQuilters — have been meeting for 15 years to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) by designing and making custom quilts. They have worked on all different types of quilts from baby quilts, memory quilts, tee shirt and just about anything in-between. The group has raised on average $5,000 a year. They have kept orders coming through word of mouth, recommendations from past customers and a few newspaper articles. This group normally meets every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., although is on hiatus until September. For more information, contact Carol Harrison (see Guild Directory).
