2026 Call to Arms –Nominating Committee and Officers Needed

June 4, 2025 by Quilter

As the year moves along, it is time to start thinking about 2026. We need to form a nominating committee to present a slate of nominees for 2026 Officers.

If you are interested in serving on the nominating committee or as a 2026 officer, please let me know.

Here is a quick recap of officer positions and requirements from our by-laws. More details about the officers’ duties .

•The elected officers of this organization shall be the President, President-Elect, Membership Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
•The officers shall be elected to serve for one year. No officer may hold the same office for more than three consecutive years.
•No officer shall hold more than one office at a time, although an officer may chair a committee in conjunction with an office.
•Officers for the upcoming year shall be solicited by a Nominating Committee. A nominee must have been a member of the organization for at least one year and must give prior consent to the nomination.

Thanks!
Kerry Cohen
